Samsung ennovateX AX Hackathon

Undertaking by Participants

This is to confirm that I (hereinafter referred to as “Participant”) hereby accept the terms of this undertaking form for and on behalf of my Team, agree to participate in the AX Hackathon (hereinafter referred to as “Hackathon”) organized by Samsung R&D Institute India - Bangalore Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “SRI-B”) as a part of Samsung ennovateX (hereinafter referred to as “Event”).

I am aware and fully understand that participating in this event would require:

  1. That the participation of either my Team or any Team member/s is subject to the discretion of the Jury presiding over the Hackathon;
  2. That I and my team members have attained the legal age of 18 years;
  3. That I acknowledge and confirm that I have read all the rules, disclaimers and T&Cs of the Event and the Hackathon which have been documented on the Event website (https://ennovatex.io/ax-hackathon/ and https://ennovatex.io) and I will abide by the said rules, disclaimers and T&Cs rules and regulations as detailed on the event website referred to hereinabove;
  4. That I confirm that once the Hackathon commences, I shall comply with the following:
    1. Follow all the submission guidelines as mentioned on the Hackathon web page (https://ennovatex.io/ax-hackathon/);
    2. Only use the permitted resources captured in the Hackathon web page referred to hereinabove, to develop the solutions of the problem statements;
    3. Follow the code of conduct and other Hackathon rules;
    4. Provide my consent to SRI-B to use my data for the purposes provided in the Hackathon web page (https://ennovatex.io/ax-hackathon/) and my solution submission e-mail;
  5. That I understand that the Organizers reserve the right to determine the number of qualifying teams for the finals, or to select no teams at all, based on the quality and merit of the submissions received. This decision is solely at the discretion of the Organizers and is final.
  6. That I, as a participant of Samsung ennovateX AX Hackathon, acknowledge and agree that I am solely responsible for the content, ideas, and submissions I present. I understand that the Organizers disclaim any liability for any claims, damages, or losses arising from my submissions or actions. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizers from any legal or financial consequences resulting from my participation or submissions.
  7. That I understand that internship opportunities and pre-placement offers offered as part of the ennovateX event are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. The allocation of internships and pre-placement offers are contingent upon the fulfillment of specific criteria, including but not limited to academic performance (CGPA), branch of study, and performance in the Software Competency Test (SWC). Additionally, the extension or continuation of an internship offer and/or subsequent pre-placement offers subject to meeting these criteria and alignment with the SRI-B internship program schedule. The Organizers reserve the right to modify or withdraw internship offers at their discretion.
  8. That the team selected for the Grand Finale can be provided with a booth set-up to showcase their solutions and/or demonstrations for which the display and power supply shall be provided by SRI-B at the venue. All other resources including but not limited to Wi-Fi, Laptops or any other items required for such showcase will be solely managed by myself and my Team;

Furthermore, I hereby acknowledge and agree that Jury has the discretionary power to replace any participating Team/s if they are unable to travel to the venue for the Grand Finale on the day of the event.
